A web design portfolio Malaysia businesses can check for themselves
Every site below is live right now. Click through, look at it on your phone, search for the business and see where it lands. A portfolio is only worth something if it can be verified.
Wisdom Hub Academy
Dawah academy, Kuala Lumpur · New build
An education and community organisation running classes, mosque tours and street outreach, with almost no online presence and a lot of information living only in WhatsApp groups.
The build turned that into a structured site of more than thirty pages: a programme section for each activity type, an activities calendar, a resources library, a gallery, a blog, and enquiry forms replacing the group chat. Every page carries its own focus keyword and internal links, so individual programmes rank on their own rather than everything competing for one homepage term.
Warung Pak Akob
Nasi briyani warung and catering, Johor Bahru · New build
A warung with a loyal walk-in following and nothing online beyond a Google listing, also quietly running a catering side of the business that almost nobody knew about.
The design leans on a deep maroon, ivory and gold palette chosen to sit close to the colour of the food itself, rather than the generic red-and-white most food sites default to. Keyword research shaped the copy down to spelling: the site uses “briyani” throughout because that is the spelling people actually type into Google, not the one on the signboard. The catering service got its own pages instead of a paragraph on the homepage.
Scope: design and build, SEO setup, content and copywriting, menu structuring
Farhanah Catering
Large-scale Malay catering, Kajang · New build
An established caterer handling weddings, kenduri and corporate events at serious volume, with government registration and certifications that no potential client could see anywhere online.
The site is positioned corporate rather than homely, because the higher-value work comes from companies and institutions. The palette is navy with the yellow taken straight from their existing signage, so the site matches a social presence customers already recognise. Content is in Bahasa Malaysia throughout, with a single English page aimed at corporate and B2B buyers who search in English. Kanopi packages, the event space and the catering tiers each got their own page.
Scope: design and build, SEO setup, bilingual content structure
Rumah Rasa
Food supplier to hotels and caterers, Kajang · New build
A kitchen supplying dessert products in bulk to hotels, caterers and corporate buyers, where the challenge was positioning: the business is a supplier, not a shop, and the site had to stop attracting single-box enquiries it does not serve.
The homepage leads with the kitchen and the supply relationship, with individual products sitting underneath rather than driving the brand. A cobalt and bone palette was chosen deliberately as a complement to the product photography, so the food carries the colour and the site does not compete with it. Thirty-four pages and a set of buyer-guide articles cover the questions trade buyers ask before requesting a quote, with each page mapped to a distinct keyword so pages do not cannibalise each other.
Scope: design and build, SEO setup, content and copywriting, quote and enquiry forms
Rawatan Bekam
Cupping therapy service, Klang Valley and Johor · New build
A treatment service operating across several locations, some with a physical shop and some mobile-only, where the structure of the site mattered more than the styling.
Keyword research came before the sitemap rather than after it, so the menu itself is built around what people search: a pillar page for the treatment, separate pages for each service type, and a location page per area served. That structure is why a service page and a location page can each rank without fighting each other. A pine and brass palette keeps it clinical rather than spa-like, and the practitioner recruitment page has its own form and flow.
Scope: keyword-led site structure, design and build, SEO setup, booking and partner forms
What runs through all of them
Five different industries, five different palettes, but the same decisions underneath every project in this web design portfolio Malaysia clients are looking at:
Structure before styling. The sitemap comes from keyword research and how customers actually think, not from a template. Getting this wrong is why so many sites look fine and still fail.
A palette chosen for the business, not the trend. Maroon for briyani, navy for corporate catering, cobalt against pistachio product shots. No two of these sites could be swapped without looking wrong.
Search built in, not bolted on. Every page has its own keyword, meta description, internal links and image alt text from the start, with the keyword map planned so pages do not compete with one another.
Built to be handed over. WordPress and Elementor, so opening hours, prices and photos can be changed by the business itself without a support ticket.
Written for the customer. Copy answers what someone needs to know before they buy or book, rather than describing the business to itself.
About the numbers
You will not find traffic percentages or conversion figures on this page. Reliable before-and-after numbers need a proper measurement window, a stable baseline and permission from the client to publish them, and quoting figures without all three is guesswork dressed up as evidence.
What is here instead is the work itself, live and linked. Open any of them, look at the structure, check the page titles, search for the business and see what comes back. That is a more useful signal than a number nobody can audit.
